Strengthening Its Commitment to Compassionate Senior Home Care

living, and dementia care joins Honeybee Homecare to enhance quality,
oversight, and family support
Roswell, GA – June 4, 2026 – Honeybee Homecare is proud to announce the
appointment of MaryBeth Watson as Vice President of Operations. Watson joins the
organization with 25+ years of leadership experience spanning private duty home care, senior living, memory care, adult day services, behavioral health, and healthcare operations.
In her new role, Watson will oversee operational excellence across Honeybee
Homecare, helping ensure that clients, families, caregivers, and referral partners
continue to receive the exceptional service and compassionate care that have become hallmarks of Honeybee Homecare.
Throughout her distinguished career, Watson has held leadership positions with
nationally recognized healthcare organizations including Brookdale Senior Living,
Morning Pointe Senior Living, Vertava Health, and Abe’s Garden Community. Her
extensive background includes overseeing private duty care programs, supporting
Alzheimer’s and dementia services, leading regional operations, launching successful healthcare startups, and guiding teams responsible for delivering care to thousands of seniors and families.
“MaryBeth’s experience is uniquely aligned with the future of Honeybee Homecare,” said Seth Pesek, President of Phoenix Senior Living. “The future of senior care depends on stronger collaboration between senior living and home-based care, and MaryBeth has successfully led organizations in both environments. Her operational expertise and passion for serving older adults will help Honeybee continue building innovative solutions for seniors and families.”
Most recently, Watson served as Divisional Director of Operations for Abe’s Garden Community’s Hearthstone division, where she oversaw private duty programs, adult day services, managed community operations, and strategic initiatives supporting dementia-focused Centers of Excellence. Prior to that, she served as Market Operations Director for Vertava Health, overseeing six outpatient behavioral health clinics and helping launch multiple successful startup locations.
Watson also spent more than two decades with Brookdale Senior Living, where she played a key role in expanding and strengthening private duty home care services across dozens of markets. During her tenure, she led the growth of Personalized Living programs, helped guide organizations through accreditation initiatives, supported multi-state compliance efforts, and worked closely with operators to improve outcomes for residents and families.
“What attracted me to Honeybee Homecare is the organization’s commitment to people,” said Watson. “At the heart of great home care is the relationship between the client, the family, and the caregiver. Honeybee has built a culture centered around compassion, accountability, and service, and I am excited to help continue that mission while supporting future growth.”
Watson’s career consistently focused on helping seniors maintain independence, enhancing quality of life, supporting family caregivers, and developing teams that deliver meaningful care experiences. Her expertise includes private duty home care, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, caregiver support, adult day programs, operational leadership, compliance, workforce development, strategic planning, and multi-site healthcare management. As demand for home-based care continues to grow nationwide, Honeybee Homecare remains committed to investing in experienced leadership and innovative solutions that allow seniors to age safely and comfortably in the place they call home.
The addition of Watson further strengthens Honeybee’s ability to provide personalized home care services while expanding its reach and impact across the communities it serves.
